Burns Collectibles History

Phil Burns was a collector, builder, and lover of model cars and airplanes. Phil develop a passion for model building and collecting in the early 1940's. Phil also dreamed of one day becoming an airplane mechanic. Unfortunately that dream came to a halt when his father passed away unexpectantly in 1956. After that a young Phil Burns was left to run the family's service station and support his mother. Despite losing his dream of becoming an airplane mechanic Phil continued his passion for flight by collecting photos, magazines, and books on airplanes. Phil was also able to continue his other passion and spent his life collecting and building model cars. Recently Phil was moved into assisted living. As a family we preserved Phils lifelong collection of collectibles. The gallery link above has the galleries of the collectibles that Phil built and bought through the years.
